Who is responsible
The controller for the processing of personal data described here is Dr. Import, Rue de Morges 22, 1023 Crissier, Switzerland, info@dr-import.ch. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where it applies to our clients in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Visiting this website
This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When you visit it, the server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and is kept only for a short period.
We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and we do not load fonts, scripts or other resources from third-party servers.
Quote requests and contact
When you use our quote form, email us or contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery country, the listing you send and your message) in order to answer your request and prepare a quote. The legal basis is the preparation and performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies to that communication.
Orders
When you place an order, we process the data needed to buy, invoice, export and deliver your watch: identity and contact details, delivery address, payment information and details of the watch. We share these data only to the extent necessary with the seller of the watch, our bank, the courier (for example DHL Express), customs authorities and, where requested, a watchmaker. Because we deliver to your country, data necessarily travel to that country together with the shipment.
How long we keep data
Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after two years at the latest. Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by Swiss law, currently ten years.
Your rights
You can ask us for information about the personal data we hold about you and request their correction or deletion, object to their processing or ask to receive them in a common format, within the limits of applicable law. Simply write to info@dr-import.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EEA, with your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies. Last updated: October 2026.
